Buy-Back Program Prices and Conditions
On items we sell, we will pay 25% of the new price for used copies meeting the following qualifications:
- Non-Digital—Can be curriculum or not, books or flash cards, but CDs and DVDs are excluded.
- Current Edition—On our site you can view the details of any book to check the copyright date and compare with your copy. You can also check our reference list of copyright dates covering the Rod and Staff curriculum, but we accept other books as well.
- Good Functional Condition—Books may have cosmetic damage, such as cover wear, bent corners, or markings, as long as it does not limit normal use; e.g., the binding must still be tight, the pages turn easily, with no answers marked in student books. Non-book items such as flash cards and loose sheet exercises packaged in cases or bags may have some damage to the container, but the contents should be complete and in good condition.
Items which we receive in like-new condition will qualify for a full refund if they were originally purchased from us, or if they were not we will pay 50% of our new price. If you return new books along with used, please include a note, so we can be alerted to evaluate them more carefully. If we decide we cannot buy back the book, it will be discarded. If you prefer to have it returned at your expense, please let us know.
Along with your books, please include a note with your address and phone number, so we can easily contact you if we have any questions.

Shipping your books by USPS Media Mail is usually the least expensive option, but it can take several weeks for delivery. We are usually able to process the books within a week of receiving them, and if we have your email address, we'll send you a notification when your payment is processed, normally via check.
If you prefer to deliver your books in person, please contact us ahead of time.
