This book is based on the childhood of Sarah Pauls (Durksen), Sharon Schnupp Kuepfer's maternal grandmother. Sharon grew up hearing her mother, Clara Durksen Schnupp, tell many stories of Christian faith and love from her heritage. In writing this book, several family histories that had been preserved were helpful in making stories about Sarah come alive. Sharon longs to pass her grandmother's childhood stories down the generations. This book is part of "Sharon's Legacy Series."
