Most textbooks, including those published by Rod and Staff, present the heliocentric theory as fact. That is the belief that the earth rotates and moves around the sun. I do not endorse the heliocentric theory because it does not seem to be consistent with the Biblical account of creation or the Biblical narrative. While the Bible is not a science book, it is inspired by God who created all things. The obvious focus of God's creative acts was providing a home for the man whom He created in His own image. I believe therefore that the earth is the center of the universe, creation, and redemption.
